Across West Virginia...temperatures are near 61 degrees north, near 61 degrees central, and near 65 degrees south. Current sky conditions are cloudy north, light rain central, and cloudy south. In the north, relative humidity is near 90%, and the dew point is near 58 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 93%, and the dew point is near 59 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 78%, and the dew point is near 58 degrees. Winds are from the north at 6 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the northwest at 6 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to light rain. Winds are from the southwest at 7 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 70 degrees at Lewisburg. The lowest temperature is 61 degrees at Morgantown and Charleston.

Early morning thunderstorms in Georgia produced three inches of rain at

Flooding due to thunderstorm rains in the southeastern U.S. on the last day
of September and the first day of October caused the Etowah River to rise
seven feet above flood stage at Canton GA. Thunderstorms produced up to ten
inches of rain in northeastern Georgia, with six inches reported at Athens
GA in 24 hours. One man was killed, and another man was injured, when
