Temperatures for the period averaged 71 degrees across the state which was 2 degrees warmer than normal . High temperatures averaged from 84 in the West to 79 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 2 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 1 degrees cooler than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 62 degrees in the West to 60 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 4 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 5 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 101 at ELKTON 5SW and the extreme low was 0 at MONTICELLO AWOS.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 6.00 inches statewide which was 2.48 inches above normal and 170% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 6.69 inches, Central 6.50 inches, Bluegrass 6.08 inches and East 4.71 inches, which was 3.18, 2.63, 2.86 and 1.23 inches above normal.
