High temperatures averaged from 70.2 in the West to 72.2 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 7.1 degrees cooler than normal in the West to 3 degrees cooler than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 77.8 degrees in the West to 63.0 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 24.9 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 13.2 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 79.2 degrees at Breathitt county and the extreme low was 54.9 degrees at Harlan county.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 3.56 inches statewide which was 3.21 inches above normal and 1009.9% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 4.57 inches, Central 3.89 inches, Bluegrass 3.55 inches and East 2.24 inches, which was 4.21, 3.51, 3.23 and 1.89 inches above normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 1.00 inches at Knox county to a high of 5.95 inches at Marshall county. Dewpoint temperatures for the state averaged near 64.3 degrees.
