At 352 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms along a line
extending from Mount Rogers National Recreation Area to near Volney 
to Meat Camp, moving northeast at 15 mph. Portions of the Mountain 
Empire Region of southwest Virginia and the Northern Mountains of 
North Carolina can expect numerous showers and a few thunderstorms 
through at least 430 PM EDT. Locally heavy rain will be possible.
