A large area of showers with embedded thunderstorms will move 
across Western New York this morning. This will bring a soaking
rainfall to Buffalo and surrounding areas, with rainfall amount
averaging between a half inch and an inch. Ponding of water in
areas of poor drainage is possible. Those with travel plans this
morning should allow a little extra time to reach your
destination.
