A High Wind Warning is in effect for western Oklahoma, western 
Texas, southwest Kansas, and the Oklahoma and Texas panhandles until 
6 am Friday. North winds of 30 to 40 mph are expected with gusts of 
50 to 60 mph. Elsewhere, a Wind Advisory is in effect farther east 
including portions of Oklahoma, south central Kansas, and north 
central Texas. Winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 50 mph can be 
expected in the wind advisory area.
