At 608 PM PDT, National Weather Service Doppler Radar indicated 
scattered showers and possible thunderstorms over the Cascades 
foothills to east of Colton, or about 15 miles to the south of 
Sandy, moving to the north at 20 mph. 

Locations impacted include...
Sandy, Estacada, Shortys Corner, and Brightwood.

Small hail, brief heavy rain, gusty winds to 40 mph, and dangerous 
lightning are possible in these areas through 7 pm. 

In Oregon this includes U.S. Highway 26 east of Portland between mile
markers 22 and 38.
