At 715 PM PDT, National Weather Service Doppler Radar indicated scattered showers and possible thunderstorms extending from Troutdale to just south of Multnomah Falls, moving to the north at 20 mph. The strongest storm was near Bridal Veil Falls. Small hail, brief heavy rain, gusty winds to 35 mph, and possibly dangerous lightning can be expected through 8 pm as these storms push across the Columbia River Gorge into far southeast Clark County and southwest Skamania County. In Washington this includes State Route 14 between mile markers 13 and 36. In Oregon this includes Interstate 84 between mile markers 19 and 36.
