.NOW...At 1 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a line of showers and
thunderstorms across Jasper and Newton Counties moving northwest 
at 10 mph.

These showers and thunderstorms will produce locally heavy 
rainfall and occasional cloud to ground lightning through 2 30 PM.
Up to one inch of rain may fall in persistent heavier bands. 
Drivers in should remain alert to sharply changing visibility and 
slick roads.
