...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by continued 
  runoff is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northern New Hampshire, including the 
  following county, Grafton.

* WHEN...Until 1115 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Roads remain closed due to flooding, and smaller streams 
  are above their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 912 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain has fallen in the last few hours.
    Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 2
    and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
    the warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Lincoln, Haverhill, Franconia, Piermont, Woodstock, Lyme,
    Lisbon, Bath, Benton and Dorchester.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where 
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become 
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or 
creeks.
