...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...
...REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of east central Kansas, including the following 
  counties, Coffey and Osage.

* WHEN...Until 145 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying 
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Expect many 
  areas of slow moving or standing water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1042 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    runoff from storms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Lebo, Waverly and Beto Junction.
  - This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 144 and 161.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
