...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM CST THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following 
  county, Tom Green.

* WHEN...Until 1100 AM CST.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying 
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water 
  crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 749 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. The Tom Green County Sheriff's office reported
    that the bridge at FM 1692 and the Concho River is closed due
    to a tree on the bridge and water flowing over the bridge.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in
    the warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    mainly rural areas of Northeastern Tom Green County

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become 
unstable and unsafe.
