...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1245 PM MDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall over the past 2 days 
  is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Colorado, including the following 
  county, southwestern Logan.

* WHEN...Until 1245 PM MDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying 
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams 
  continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

    - At 1245 PM MDT, emergency management reported flooding in
    the warned area due to heavy rain over the past 2 days.
    Flooding is already occurring. Between 4 and 5 inches of rain
    have fallen in the Pawnee Creek Basin over the last 48 hours.

    - This includes the following streams and drainages...
    Pawnee Creek.

    - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    Atwood.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become 
unstable and unsafe.
