...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, south central, southwest, and west 
  central Kansas, including the following counties, in central 
  Kansas, Rush. In south central Kansas, Barber, Comanche, Edwards, 
  Kiowa, Pawnee, Pratt and Stafford. In southwest Kansas, Clark, 
  Finney, Ford, Gray, Hodgeman, Kearny and Meade. In west central 
  Kansas, Lane, Ness and Scott.

* WHEN...Through Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, 
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. 
  Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are 
  possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Evening thunderstorms in Scott and Lane county have already
    produced 3-4 inches of rain and we should see another round
    of storms tonight which could produce 1-3 inches of rain over
    areas that have received large amounts of rainfall over the
    past week.
