...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana, including the following 
  county, De Kalb and northwest Ohio, including the following 
  counties, Defiance and Paulding.

* WHEN...Until 500 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Water may be over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 319 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported heavy rain
    in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
    already occurring. Between 1.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have
    fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Defiance, Hicksville, Farmer, Newville, Ney, Cecil, Mark
    Center, The Bend, Williams Center, Brunersburg and Evansport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
