...HIGH SURF ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM PDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Large waves and hazardous surf conditions.

* WHERE...North Coast and Central Coast zones.

* WHEN...Until 4 AM PDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Large waves may wash over beaches, jetties, and other
  structures unexpectedly. People can be swept off rocks and 
  jetties and drown while observing high surf. Localized beach 
  erosion is possible. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Seas are expected to peak late this evening
  and subside into Thursday morning. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.
